I'm back and MARRIED but missed most of my reception...

I'm back and MARRIED but missed most of my reception...

Yes that's right girls.......I spent most of my reception in the bridal suite THROWING UP. I would go upstairs, dance for a song, talk to who I could, before needing to go down stairs to get sick. The last two hours I couldn't make it back up to the reception. From vomiting I ended up popping the buttons and zipper on my dress and everything had to be pinned. I started to feel sick on the limo ride to reception hall and got sick on the bus......the night went down hill from there. I practically had to be carried out of the hall at the end of the night.

Now it's hitting me that I missed my OWN WEDDING.......but that day I was so happy to be married to my hubby and that the ceremony was beautiful, that I took it all with stride. I was in good spirits despite puking...........but the more I tell my story, the more upset I get.

I know I wasn't huge poster, and I slowed after I bought my house.......but I don't know what to think right now.......

omg thats terrible..I'm so sorry to hear that...Regardless..you look absolutely Stunning!!!!!!!! So beautiful! you can't even tell you were sick..congrats!

I don't know........it could have been viral, nerves, no sleep, pain medication for my back, I got my period the day before the wedding (which was interesting in and of itself).......who knows.

I almost didn't make it on the plane to Mexico for the honeymoon. I threw up on the way there twice but was okay after getting sleep once we arrived...

That is such a sad story. I don't even know what to say. The only thing I can think of is that most people say the wedding goes by so fast, so try not to let it get to you that you missed some of it. In the end things would probably have been a blur anyway. Due to your sickness, it might help you actually remember those moments you were able to be there and enjoy. And you did look beautiful!!!
