I'm back (only for a bit)
I just wanted to share a bit about my wedding day yesterday! I had so much fun!!! I'll be leaving tomorrow morning for my surprise honeymoon.
I've been frantic all week, not sleeping well and crying from all of the stress. Yet, when I arrived at the Swan Club shortly before 10 yesterday morning, all I wanted to do was to see my FI. Once we got settled, I walked out in the gardens when FI was standing with his back towards me (my photographer set this all up). I walked up to him and he turned around and once we saw each other, the sense of calm just came over me. At that point, I really didn't care if anything went wrong. I think one of the best decisions we ever made was to see each other before the ceremony. I was very happy, shocked that my wedding day was actually here, and was looking for fun. A lot of the guests said that I didn't look nervous (I really wasn't) and instead looked relaxed and like I was having a lot of fun! There were a few minor mishaps but they didn't prevent me from getting married, so I didn't care at all!
Thank you again for all of your advice! I don't know how I would have planned this wedding if I didn't have LIWeddings!
I will post vendor reviews, where I went on my honeymoon, and hopefully pictures upon my return!
