how many sets of china do you idealy want / need?
you want to have a setting for 8 people at least
so then what happens if after all is said and done, you only have 2 or 3 sets bought for you?? do you go out and buy the rest on your own?
yeppers!! Thats the joy of having the completion incentives from these stores!
(Its also another reason why i registered for my china as an eight piece set 'all in one' rather than seperate place setting...its alot cheaper that way and you are ensured you will get a full table worth of place settings!)

yea, thats why i dont understand when people register for $200 place settings (for what 5 plates?!) when they need at least 8 of each!!!

Thats pretty much the point of china...Keep it in storage, maybe use it once a year for holidays, and look at it. Thats about all it is...But its still nice to have

i am not registered yet but i don't plan on registering for fine china since i will prob never use it. I do like mikasa's italian countryside for everyday though, and will probably register for that.

I despise china and thus far have refused to register for it. I love the plates I have already - they are so old and I love them. I will prob wind up registering for some plain white china....

My china pattern is Serpentine from Lenox. Ignore the 30% off icon on the bottom the only decent picture is from Amazon.
