Want to talk debt? JT is finishing up art school right now. Well, it turns out that for his 30,000 dollar a year college, THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE A DEGREE They ONLY give a DIPLOMA So he (and soon to be we) is in debt for over 90,000 And there's STILL GRAD SCHOOL! I don't even want to think about it. I hyperventilate at the thought of it.

OMG that's nuts... I only owe about $6000 still from school, but we both have a lot of other debt too.. thank god school loans are paid off over the long term. FH wants to go into the police academy, which is why he's going back to school (he needs a certain # of credits) and if he gets in, it pays really well, so I'm hoping it works out.

There was no way we could avoid racking up more school debt because his school doesn't give grades, so he couldn't even transfer! So we decided, what the heck, we're in debt from it already, he might as well finish. All we can do is pray for an error in the computers that would erase all the debt! Keep your fingers crossed!

Rachel---I MIGHT be intertested in commuting to Boston....I'd definitely have to check it out further tho...I love kids so much and I feel like I could be with them all day and I much rather be with them all day than with adults!!!!!!!!!!! I have been saying for the past 2 years (when I was 23) that I planned to have my degree by the time I was 30.....well..I will be 26 on Dec. 26th----so I am not getting any younger!! Yikes! I know Teachers do not make THE MOSST $$, but its probaly more than what I make now, its probably more rewarding, AND I get summers off!! I need to get my ass in gear!

Well, before I moved to MA, Computer Associates offered me PLENTY to be a kindergarten teacher. PLUS, they certify you in Montessouri and you can take that liscense ANYWHERE.

Thanks Rachel! I cvhecked it out, but I think I am outta luck because I have no degree in child care related stuff....only an Associates in Finance & Investments...it looks like a great opportunity to work for that company....REALLLLY DOES!!!!!!!!!!!! And their HQ is in LI!!! Maybe I could move back to LI after working in MA!!!!!!!
