I'm confused about invitations, PLEASE HELP!

Okay,
FH and I are looking for invitations, but we are really confused because alot of the websites seem as if they are using the same invitation template.. They all have the same invites for the same price. We're not trying to get our invitation custom designed or anything, but it seems weird that everyone carries uses the same template and pricing. How do you know which site to order from? Or is it better to select an invitation and then go to one of the vendors on this board and try to negoiate for a better price?

Sorry if this post sounds confusing, but that's just because I'm confused!

Yeah - I found that too and at first it confused me. But - it also helped. I found myself going back to the same one from each one so I knew it was a winner. What I would suggest - go through - pick the ones you like and price it out. I had a notebook with all this info and once I narrowed my choice I was able to price shop. This way when they throw the 'discount' down - you know what you are looking at. Make it work for you.

You can try to pit them against each other a bit and get the lowest price - but I would really email or call a few and go with the person who has the best customer service - the prices are never really that different.

I agree, sometimes they will match the other prices.

You should also see if they will send you printed samples of their work. When we looked for out STDs we found some places used very little ink and some used more for a better raised letter feeling. Some looked like they were run through a home printer. I don't have the link here but I used the same company Julz33 used & they had the best discount and pricing!

Are the samples free? Do you mean tha I can get a sample without any obligation to actually order from them?

I honestly think the best thing to do is go to a store or a vendor who sells invitations. They can get you the same invitations from the internet, but you can touch them and feel the quality of them. I 'fell in love with' a few from the internet, and then when I got the sample, they were too thin or not at all like the picture. I would definitely recommend going somewhere.
