I'm eloping

I'm eloping

FH and me pretty much booked everything for our wedding in Feb. 09.

But now the family is complaining about traveling and how they were all expecting to have a 'real' wedding.

So, as far as everyone is concerned, we're going to have a big sha-bang on 8/15/09, but we're really going to stick to our plan and elope on 2/16 in St. Thomas and have a brunch for everybody when we get back.

You have to do what makes you and FH the happiest, bc it is your day. 10, 20, 30 years down the road you will only remember how you felt on your day not how everyone else felt about it.
