IM ENGAGED!!

Well, I joined a while back and only posted a few times because I wasn't engaged yet and I felt dumb....but i just got engaged this weekend!!! So its official
The day of the proposal was the most incredible day ever, i truly felt like it was out of a movie!! I couldn't have asked for anything better!!

We've been together for 3 years!!...He had planned a surprise date for our anniversary this past saturday, and all he would tell me was that i had to be ready at noon, and to dress nice because we were going somewhere fancy.

So at 12:00 mom tells me hes here, so i grab my bags and head to the door. A strange man enters my house, he introduces himself and tells me hes my driver for the day. He hands me a red envelope with a letter inside from FH. It says that instead of buying me a present he is sending me on a scavenger hunt all over long island & the city with my friends, granted i solve some clues. The limo driver gives me my first envelope w/ a long stem red rose attached to it, inside is the first clue (the place of our first kiss)...i solve the clue, and the limo driver says okay lets go! I get into the limo and all my friends and sister were in there already! FH supplied the limo with my favorite wine (maybe not such a good idea haha)...there were 12 clues that took me from long island to the city, at every stop i had to go in and say 'im here for my rose'....there was an envelope w/ a red rose attached for every clue.

Finally the last stop in the city says 'Congratulations you finsihed the scavenger hunt, come meet me at the Carltun for dinner'

I get to the carltun, say goodbye to my girlfriends and head up the path to the restaurant. As I'm walking up the path i see FH standing outside next to the tree. He is standing next to a little table w/ a red tablecloth and a dozen red roses on the table. Of course first thing i say is 'Babe i have to pee'...

He tells me there is one more clue. He hands me a flip book that he made. Every page in the book just expresses how in love w/ me he is (etc. etc.) Then it starts to say that the day wasn't meant for a scavenger hunt, or our anniversary, and that he has a question for me. Thats when he gets down on his knee and asks me to marry me....at this point i was crying so hard from reading the book thing that all i could do was nod my head and say ok...(as he proposes i see my girlfriends behind the tree taking pictures)

THEN....we walk into the carltun for dinner and my whole family and his whole family are there to meet us!...They were watching the whole thing from the window!! (The thing is his family is from 7 hours away and they all came up to be with us)

It was incredible, the best day of my life!

ok so u have me crying and i think that is THE BEST STORY IVE EVER HEARD!!!!!! You got one good man there!!! Congrats again!
