I'm engaged, now what?

So, I just got engaged on Friday night (9/15/06). Now, I have to start looking at Catering halls. Can anyone recommend some good places?

I already have an appointment at the Thatched Cottage, and a call into Carlysle on the Green (Bethpage).

COngrats! I am partial to Chateau la Mer in Lindenhurst. There are alot of posts on the bride's review about the place. Check it out

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best way to narrow your search for reception halls is to post your price range, that way we can tell you which halls are definetely in and definetly out!!

I only looked at Jericho Terrace as I feel in love with it at my best friend's wedding and when FH and I went in last month. Wherever you go one thing to keep in mind is negotiate, negotiate, and finally negotiate some more.
