I'm feeling blue today

I have been TTC for a few months now, and a few days ago I did an HPT and got a faint positive line. I tested a couple of times and used first morning urine and got the faint line each time. I was really excited because I had read a lot of you girls say that a line is a line. Well, yesterday my AF showed. I have an appointment with my doctor later. I just don't get it.

Did the line seem to get darker each day?
That is strange. I would talk to your dr about it. Could you be spotting? Some women have spotting when they are in fact pregnant.
I hope you get some answers and have some good news to share very soon.

At first I thought it was just spotting but it has turned into a full blown AF. Thanks for your words of support.

Your doctor will confirm, but this is probably a chemical or'phantom' pregnancy. I am so sorry - please keep trying. It's a good sign that you were able to conceive at all!

I'm not sure what a chemical pregnancy is but I'll do some reasarch on it. Thanks for your words of encouragement

Not trying to scare you but this could also mean a miscarriage..but there are also women who get pregnant and get break thru bleeding in the beginning...I think the doctor's visit is a good idea.

I hope you feel better soon. I would be very sad too

Thanks Ladies for all your support

I went to my Dr. yesterday and they had me do a pregnancy test and it was negative. Jenny was right, the Dr. said it was probably a chemical pregnancy. oh well, I'll just have to be patient and keep trying. Please send lots of baby dust my way.
