So I realized that I was being stupid by letting one or two people keep me from posting pictures of my ring.
I love my ring, it's exactly what i wanted, and i didnt give FH any hints or tips at all. He picked it out all by himself, with no help from ANYONE. I think he did pretty darn good and I don't want anyone to think I'm ashamed of, or embarassed by it.
Mimacat, can you tell which photos i took just for you?

You shouldn't even justify anything when posting something of yours....if you love it that's all that matters....the explanation really isn't necessary...that makes people wonder how you really feel...JMO

The explanation was given because I'd had several conversations with people from this site about why I hadn't posted it.
Not looking to cause drama, but there were a couple of members who'd made comments about the size of your ring being a direct reflection of how much your FH loves you. I have always loved my ring, but the thought of someone sitting here looking at it and then assuming that my FH didnt love me as much as theirs loves them really bothered me. I felt it was insulting to HIM.

Then I realized that the real insult was me not posting it.

A cashier in a store once said to me 'I love your ring, is that a full karat'....so I said ,
NO...IT'S 4 CELERYS AND WALKED AWAY. LOL

Some people are crude - who the heck asks a Q like that. What the he!! difference does it make what size your stone is. I'ts yours and it has special meaning to you!!!!! End of Story!!

They stopped selling it!!! w tf??

I actually saw it a couple of weeks ago at a bagel store in nhp, but then again it was in a clearance box, eeeeekkkkkk!!!!!

The ring is absolutely beautiful, congratulations!!

And anyone who can appreciates diamonds knows that a smaller sized, more perfect diamond is so so much more money then a larger, flawed one. Sure, its easy to get a big rock....one thats cloudy and/or flawed....so size can sometimes means nothing....your ring couldn't be more perfect and pretty

i hear ya chickie i have looked at some peoples rings and gulped lol but i love my ring it is just what i wanted i didnt want anything big! i got a 1/2 carot single stone and i love it!! i dont like big jewelery! its not the size of it that matters its the love FH has for you! I told FH if he was gonna propose that he can just put the little sapphire ring he bought me 7 years ago on the other hand! I LOVE YOUR RING!!!!!!!
