i'm still freaking out thought because the original number i posted above was for a guest count of 140 people. we are still missing like 67 RSVP's and when i add how many people i think are coming - it could be like 150 which is a lot of extra money i don't have to pay for this wedding!
I want to cry! i am so nervous right now and i know this feeling won't go away until i know my final rsvp numbers!

Ok, so generally it's Base price per person, plus 20% service charge, then tax on the whole thing, but multiplication is multiplicaiton so your amount is correct.
You are expected to tip your bridal attendant(s) additional. I think usually $100-200.
And the maitre'd is usually $3-5 per guest

I am in the same exact boat with the pricing... and we are inviting 230 people!!!!! I am really nervous because we did not originally think there was more tipping on top of the 20% and the tax!! oi

Ughhhhhhh yeah I know I am going to be worried about this too!!! Pray for NO's!!!!! Actually, you could start to stalk people as well. When is the RSVP date?

how much % wise, do i tip everyone else? 20%? like band? photographer?
Check with your RH how it is calculate, because our gratuity is calculated pre-tax, and there is no tax on gratuity.
Also check with your RH for tipping policy for maitre'd....I thought tipping maitre'd and bridal attendant was expected however my BM told me they compensate their staff very well to the point where tipping isn't necessary. I think I will still tip these two people the day of just not as much as I had been planning to.

its next friday and my FH says we shouldn't say anything until after that date. I have already started stalking my co-workers and some personal friends and i told him to stalk his coworkers but we won't stalk family till May 7th
