Thank you all so much!!! I love the idea about donating money to a charity instead of favors. My FI and I were thinking about that because I lost my Mom to cancer a few years ago. This way we can put her name on the scroll ('in loving memory of') and it kind of makes her part of the wedding. Thanks again!!!
I definately don't think you should be spending $1000 out of a $10000 budget on limos. That money would be much better applied to photos/video which both you, your children, and your grandchildren are likely to enjoy. If you are having a reception at a church, and want to make a grand exit you can get a limo for one way for like $150 tops!
My FH and I got a wedding planner for our wedding. Hold on- I am not talking about Jennifer Lopez wedding planner here- We are using this place called Majestic Bridal in Elmont. We got our limos, photographer, videographer, invitations, favors, and flowers through them. They gave us a great price and we spent around $6000 for everything. The guy Joe (one of the owners) is really nice and works within your budget. If you want some more information-let me know. I can give you his phone number and stuff. Best of all my sister used Majestic Bridal when she got married, and my brother used him when he got married at Chateau Briand and they only had wonderful experiences with him. I have every confidence that my wedding will be awesome.
