im freaking out! long

ok i dont know if i said this before but my fmil works at a salon in dixhills..she has been there for like 15 yrs..i told her i would get hair done there but i was going for a makeup trial for airbrush..she said they do airbrush at her salon too.but i went to another trial anyway..and booked..now heres the problem. i now have like 6 people who want makeup and jackie(makeup)would have to be at my house by 9 for me and girls to be ready at 12..now what about hair? fmil thinks maybe we can open up the salon at like 6 am..no way..ive been trying to ask her is someone from the salon can come to me at my house..why should i travel 20 min out of my way to go get hair done..and i cant rely on all my girls to come to my house at like 530am to be back at my house for makeup..she said she may not get someone to come to my house to do all of our hair? i dont get it? i dont want to offend her if i dont use them for hair.but some of my girls are suggesting they go somewhere else to make it easier for me..i want it to be easy for EVERYONE..especially my bp..what do i do?i dont want to go to dixhills..i would rather not be running around on the day of my wedding..i have 5 months and im freaking out now!!please throw me some suggestions..TIA

I think you should politely tell her the girls want to get their hair done themselves, elsewhere. Why would she be offended? She's going to be too excited that day (hopefully) to even think about that. She should understand that you need someone to come to you that day. It's going to be hectic enough without having to get up at the crack of dawn to get your hair done.

I think i would try and get someone to come to my house and if that salon cant accomodate this, then find someone else who can, hopefully FMIL will understand... it isnt like you didnt try to make it work with her salon...

I think your BP is great for going somewhere else on their own so that you do not have to worry, travel, or get up early. Lots of girls have 'their' girl that they like. So let them go to their girl. They'll be happy, you'll be happy. no one has to get up at 5:30am.
The less things you have to worry about, the better.

i hear ya..but i just think shes very into her salon..even my fsil said when she got married she used the salon out of guilt..its weird..its 20 min out of the way..i kinda talked to her last nite about it to feel it out..she kind of sounded wierd about it..maybe she was tired..who knows
