I'm getting a NEW car!!!!!!

FH decided to surprise me a few days ago. He said that we have done REALLY good with saving so far (I've been waiting to get a new car for a while now--patiently!!!) so he announced the other day that the waiting is over!!!! So we went and picked out a car for me- a brand new Toyota Rav-4!! I'm so excited... and he just called to say it's all ready to be picked up!!!

All the waiting and saving was SO worth it!!!

Sorry, I just had to share!!! I'm bursting with excitement-- I have my first moonroof-- EVER!!!!

thanks!! yeah i know-- it drives great and it as 4WD so I feel much safer now that the winter is coming-- also, the car is bigger overall than my last car so i feel much better driving it.

it was the best commute ever this morning!!!!

Melanie: thanks for the old italian tradition of putting money in the backseat-- i'll throw some in and say it was from you and def invest in a new car as soon as you can-- i've had it now like two hours and i'm SO happy!!!!!! the good thing is: it's about 35% bigger than last years model-- so it's a big difference but if you need bigger the 4 runner is REALLY nice!!

Yeah I know. My brother Craig just bought the Sequoia. I LOVE IT!!!! But even he was torn between the 4 Runner and the Sequoia. We'll see how we are money wise, but Toyota's last FOREVER!!!!

They really do... my first car was a Toyota Corolla and it made it to 155,000 miles before the guy that bought it from me (a friend of mine) crashed it and totaled it!! So really, it would have went even longer! So sad-- it had a good run!
