FH decided to surprise me a few days ago. He said that we have done REALLY good with saving so far (I've been waiting to get a new car for a while now--patiently!!!) so he announced the other day that the waiting is over!!!! So we went and picked out a car for me- a brand new Toyota Rav-4!! I'm so excited... and he just called to say it's all ready to be picked up!!!
All the waiting and saving was SO worth it!!!
Sorry, I just had to share!!! I'm bursting with excitement-- I have my first moonroof-- EVER!!!!

Yeah, aside from a new house, my next investment is a new car. The rav 4 is really cute, but I need something bigger, (I'm tall ) Congrats. wish I could chuck ya some change to put in it

Melanie: thanks for the old italian tradition of putting money in the backseat-- i'll throw some in and say it was from you and def invest in a new car as soon as you can-- i've had it now like two hours and i'm SO happy!!!!!! the good thing is: it's about 35% bigger than last years model-- so it's a big difference but if you need bigger the 4 runner is REALLY nice!!
To everyone else: I LOVE IT!! THANK YOU!! It smells like new car-- the best smell.. I'm a little drunk right now so ignore me if I'm rambling LOL we had wine to celebrate! But I love driving it (before I started drinking of course) and it's SO nice-- I still don't know how to even turn on the windshield wipers or unlock the back door lol that will come in time i'm sure-- I can't wait for tomorrow's commute-- WHO says that ever?! LOL wow, I'm gonna go lay down-- too much wine. I was drunk last night too geez maybe I have a problem, OK I'm stopping now, I promise.

CONGRATS!!!! I know EXACTLY how you feel!! I just got a new car two months ago and and I was waiting patiently as well and I also got my first moonroof EVER!! Isn't it the best feeling in the world????
