I showed FI the 'pets' thread and it reminded him of how much he loves dogs (he had to put his 12yo to sleep 5 yrs ago due to prostate cancer and he vowed never to have another puppy b/c putting him to sleep took a lot out of him )
But after showing him your cuties and reminding him that once I start residency I'm going to be out of the house a lot - he said yes!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait until JUNE! I'm graduating from medical school, I'm getting married, going on an awesome honeymoon, getting a puppy and starting residency!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!!! I have a yorkie-poo and she is fantastic! smart like a poodle, but great yorkie personality.

congrats! me and fi are so dog crazy!! we cant wait to get one!
i hear yorkies are the hardest to house break!! i know a few peole who have them and say the samething..just that i'd mention it since you are looking for a small dog..
