I'm getting LASIK today!!

I'm getting Lasik today and I'm kinda nervous...I have my appointment for 3:30pm. I had a nightmare last night about them strapping me into some kind of torture chair kicking and screaming and then just started cutting my eyeballs with no numbing drops....I know, kinda dramatic. Has anyone had this done?? How was your experience?? Thanks!

Ladies....Not only is it great to get Lasik and be able to see the alarm clock but your sex life will improve. You won't have to worry about taking out your contacts and kill the mood and in the morning you can actually see what you are doing!!!

I did it -wow- almost 7 years ago. Getting Lasik done was one of the best decisions I ever made! No more contacts or glasses - it's very freeing.

I was really scared beforehand, but it wasn't bad at all. I didn't feel a thing. My eyes were dry and scratchy feeling, but that went away. I slept over my mom's that night just in case (I was single then) and the next morning I could see!

I wuld loooove to get it done, but its too expensive and my insurance doesn't cover it.

By the time you read this you'll be fine and enjoying your 20/20 vision.

I just LASIK in January - I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses since I was 8 years old. LASIK was the best thing ever. Only one night of discomfort followed by 20/20 vision the very next morning. I don't know why I waited so long.
