at FH. I know I have given advice to brides on here, that FH's don't usually get into the planning as much as we do.....but I guess to listen to that advice is easier said than done. Everytime I get excited about part of the planning and tell FH he never seems excited, and alot of times he even changes the subject after a min or two

It's just a downer I guess, sometimes it makes me feel like he doesn't really even wanna get married...he hasn't even asked his GM or BM to be in the wedding yet! I don't even know who he wants to have on his side yet
I asked my girls when he first aske dme to marry him!! I just wanna scream

i have learned in these passed few months to be very careful when to bring certain things up.. i make it a point not to bombard him with things I think about a lot during the day.... like i will purposelly not even say anything about wedding stuff during the week... then friday, saturday, sunday, i'll mention something to him and he wont mind at all... little does he know this is all planned out and he just thinks i am being all cool and calm about it!

He sounds like mine...don't have any advice other than to not let it get you down.

Everytime I ask my FH something he says 'How come all my friends told me that all I have to do is show up?' sometimes I HATE his friends....

I know how you feel. Although we haven't done that much yet. We still have tons to do, but his concern is the $$$$.

He'll say we'll do whatever we can. It just seems like I'm the only one doing things for it. So I get a little nutty at times.

Hang in there and maybe give him a little talk about how you're feeling. He did ask you to marry him afterall. Some guys just don't care about the planning. They just know they need to get dressed and show up.

I have gone through that but my FH is very laid abck and easwy going so he really does not show his excitement all the time but I know it's there. Remember we are women they are men, it's a BIGGGGGGGGGGGGG difference.
