I'm getting married thursday

FI and I are scheduled for city hall on Thursday!! (green card issues)... It feels WEIRD, especially considering we only just got engaged 12/27/03!!! Shortest engagement on the planet, huh?

Just my mom... my dad is in Florida... I really didn't want to make a big deal out of it because it kind of takes away from the whole big production in the fall... but damn, I'm going to Mrs. Beer (yes, that's his last name... how awful??) on Thursday!!! So strange...

Oh yeah, we're still having the reception in the fall, and a 'pseudo-ceremony' for show... it's just that his work visa expires 11/04, which wouldn't give us enough time to get all the paperwork processed... so we're marrying now, so we have 9 months to get all the paperwork and apply for the greencard in time before the visa expires...

That's what I get for marrying a foreigner :)

My husband.... ohhhhh that's SO weird!!!!
