Does anyone get depress around there birthday . I will be 31 on the 14th, and I hate it, hate it, hate it. Now, I am sitting here eating oatmeal for lunch, and wondering, damn, the older you get the harder it is to loose weight. Yuck!!!!!!!!

Well I can sympathize. It just hit me when someone asked me when my birthday was & I said July & realized I would be turning 35....HOLY CR*P!!! WTH. Where did the time go?!

I'll be 35 in June! Nobody believes me though - everyone thinks I'm mid 20's. I'll take it! I'm starting to see some wrinkles though around my mouth and my skin is looking blah. Oh yeah, almost forgot the grey hair!

My DH laughs that no one LOVES their bday more than I do! I celebrate for a month, I think of it as an accomplishment of one more year of life - I am still in my 20's so maybe I will rethink this philosophy as I get older, we'll see....

I can definitely sympathize...I'm turning 30 at the end of May and have been dreading it since last May! I just mentioned to FH last night that if I continue to try and tweeze my gray hairs, I'll be bald very very soon!

Yep - Not looking forward to July, I will be 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My twenties will be OVER!!!! Argh! I feel like it's the end of my youth, which ***** big time.

I have noticed that it's gotten harder in the last few months to lose weight. (I was 33 in January). And I noticed a gray hair, which depressed me. Otherwise, I am glad to be out of my 20s.

I can't lose weight for anything lately! But I have no problem putting it on LOL! I'll be 32...OMG I was thinking I was 30 and just had to do the math. Well DH is going to be 38 so I can be thankful that he is always going to be older
My sister is 26 and has gray hair! I only had a couple...I say 'had' because I pull them out! I hate them! My Mom went gray at 21 and her father went gray at 19!!

I def. used to get depressed around my b-day. 30-32 were the hardest for me. I took 33 ok - Lets see what happens when I turn 34. LOL!

DH's birthday is the 14th as well. he'll be 35.
I turned 31 myself about two weeks ago, so I know how you feel.

I just turned 26, but have been extremely depressed on my birthday for the last 3 or 4 years now! I don't know what it is - I just get so sad on my birthday for no real reason... Maybe it's really starting to sink in that sooner or later I'm going to have to stop acting like such a spaz and concentrate on acting more like a real grown-up? I'm really starting to hate my birthday now as a result - this year was bad - even with my DH home for the first time! - I was really upset and just started crying in the middle of dessert! My b-day is on Christmas Eve too, and lately I've just felt like my day has been overlooked by Christmas... I'm starting to understand why some people hate celebrating their birthdays now!!
