I'm goin' Sweetheart!

Not so dramatic - she's not even cutting the dress (more pinching it down between the boobies), but we're adding a sweetheart neckline to my dress! It looks SO much better and more flattering than the neckline I had!

Josephine at the Macy's Bridal Salon by Demetrios in Smithhaven Mall was a PLEASURE to work with! LOTS of alterations have to be done to my dress (the hem - even though it was a hollow to hem measurement, it's still too long, it has to be taken down at least a size (wahoo!), and the sweetheart neckline).

So, I guess you can say my dress will be one of a kind! .

AND my parents paid off the balance of my dress, alterations, veil, tiara, etc. yesterday for me! Almost $900 as their extra gift to me! They're so awesome!!!

I looked at your pics of your dress in your album and it does look better with a sweatheart neckline. That's so great that she can do it.

I too am getting my dress from Macy's in Smithhaven Mall. Can I ask you, do they charge an arm and a leg for alterations and stuff? I know the woman told me there was no cap on it there.

Also, that's wonderful that your parents picked up the balance of your dress and everything. Go mom & dad!!

I got my dress there also, so glad to hear the alterations were good. I was hoping that it was not going to need a hem since mine was hem to hollow alos but oh well.

The good thing is that they didn't CHARGE me the $150 for hem to hollow since I already paid for that and it just wasn't done right.

We had to pay about $300 in alterations.

I too like a bit of a dip! Great choice! Can't wait to see it!!!
