IM GOING CRAZY LOOKING FOR AN EPARTY LOCATION!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

we are having about 100ppl for the eparty and we are looking for a restaurant on LI with a 'city' feel. It will be in October, and all the places I know are on the water and I am not sure if that is a good idea....

any ideas ladies????

some one also suggested the 56th fighter group restaurant but I have never been there....any reviews?

Love it there. Food is great but it's not necessarily the NYC feel you're looking for. We've had parties there as well. Very reasonable and food is yummy.

56 is good. My cousin hd her shower there. I think it all depends on what night and time you are looking to have it because on a Friday night it turns in to Happy Hour haven! It is a good time though.

we are looking for a sunday early dinner ( but not a brunch...I hear it is a big brunch spot though)

is it annoying to be by the planes?

It's an airy feel. Lots of wood. They recently did the upstairs room. You don't hear the planes though. It is a big brunch spot but we had steak, chicken and penne vodka that was delicious

Im having mine this Sunday at the Coral House in Baildwin, im doing a sit down dinner /lunch it was $40 a head with wine and beer and they have plenty of nice rooms GOOD LUCK hope you fine something you love

another place ive heard alot about is 'four' i think its in nassau county. Not sure about prices or anything though

There is a bride on the 07 board, she owns a restaurant and also offers private parties there, post on the 07 board too, I'll try to find the info and fm you. There is a beautiful view of the bridge ( i think whitestone)
