Well, I'll be honest...I was a touch disappointed, but i think its because i loved the book so much and i have such an active imagination.
With that being said... my boyfriend, who didnt read the books, loved it. :)

We saw it!!! I liked it...didn't love it, but it was good. The book is a million times better!!!

With that being said... my boyfriend, who didnt read the books, loved it. :)
I've heard its a bit disappointing...but I'm still gonna go see it!
Do you think I should see it if I haven't read the book, or wait until I read the book. I am going to read it when my semester ends.
I haven't seen the movie yet but I definitely recommend reading the book first!!!! That series is like my new favorite series of all time and I don't know if it would have been as powerful for me if I would have seen the movie first!

i read the book first and then saw the movie and was slightly disappointed....
my boyfriend didnt read the book and he actually liked it more than i did... so it's a tough call.
i think because our imaginations can take us farther than any budget or CGI effect can, it lost a little something for me.

I think they did a good job of making it a movie, but it lacked certain things that made the book special.
