Hi Girls...I just wanted to tell everyone that my FFIL is doing okay. He is still in ICU because they are having trouble getting his blood pressure right. Other then that he is doing great. The doc told us that it was a combintation of stress from work & diet. He now is going to be following a heart healthy diet & is taking some time off from work. He might even retire finally.

Thanks again for all your support! It really means a lot to me. You guys are the best!!

I am glad to hear things are looking better.

Last year FI's dad checked himself into the hospital while FI and I were away. We come home from vacation to learn his dad was having terrible chest pains and drove himself to the hospital. his dad wound up having quadrupule bypass surgery. Almost a year later his dad looks and feels great. he has really stuck to his diet, goes to the doctor once a month for check ups, and lost a lot of weight.

Glad to hear things are looking up. As long as your FFIL sticks to his new diet and takes it easy from work (retiring may be the best thing for him) he will look and feel a lot better.
