So its official. Tomorrow morning I have to go for the taping of Tyra to learn how to walk in heels for the wedding. I'm soo nervous since I'm normally shy, but I am soo looking foward to getting my hair and makeup done!
Update:
SO I went on the show today. I was so freakin nervous this morning. They took the stories I told them and turned it into a script and I had to memorize it an add lib at the same time.. I was fumbling it around for hours waiting there. I got my hair and makeup done. That was soo much fun. I had 2 people do my makeup, 1 do my hair and someone go over the script with me at one time. I could seriously get used to that![]()
and I went through wardrobe about 5 times![]()
SO the two Jays were there as well. I go out onto the stage during commercial and stand in between Tyra and the two Jays. I was seriously up to Tyras chest. She made fun saying we look like a fairy tale..![]()
But they made me put on a poofy skirt to simulate the dress and change it to high heels. Jay Manuel also put on the skirt. We both got Bouquets and pretended to walk down the aisle. I felt so foolish but it was fun.
They DID NOT give me anything. I was kinda disappointed at first, but whatever it was really fun and was definitely an experience to add to the wedding planning and be recorded. It will air some time in January. They'll call me when it airs so I'll let you guys know. Here are some pictures I took of me when I got home.

I didn't know about it. What happened was, 2 years ago I put in for my mom to get a makeover saying she is stuck in the 80s and needs a makeover before my wedding. She wasnt chosen. But Saturday, they called me asking if I had gotten married yet because Tyra wants to teach a bride how to walk down the aisle. It was all luck!

I would dress for the show just in case they dont have something, but if they do even better but good to have a second option

I'm going to wear my ballet flats, because I told them thats all I wear. Should I wear jeans or slacks? I was thinking of wearing a new camisole and a sweater from express. Or should i wear a button down?

i dont know i might be completely wrong but kinda weird that they call you bc they want to teach someone who cant walk in heels and you just so happen not to be able to...but like i said ill wait until tomorrow even if im wrong ill let you know what it is lol

OMG! congrats! I dont know you but I am so excited for you. Well, come back to this thread and let us know when it airs for us to watch....and yes I think that outfit sounds good. Well I hope you have fun. I always where heals cuz im short but extra tips will always help. Cant wait to see it!
