Re: I'm going to cry

1-Take a deep breath

2-walk the whole store before scanning anything

3-don't scan until you head is clear

I had to go back because I scanned stuff I did not like the next day.

Have fun.

Take it slow, do one section at a time. You don't have to do everything at one time. My FH and I registered over 4 visits. Have fun!!

It's not usually as much fun for the guys as it is for us, so bring him the first time and then decide after that if you want to leave him home the next time. It was so much better when I went with my mom. My FI is clueless about what we need.
Also, it is fun when you have the gun, and you feel like you are buying everything without having to pay or wait in line.
I was worried too, and I was overwhelmed because I didn't want to mess up, but you can't. Just go back and fine tune.

My tip would be not to bring your FI. Trust me-its alot easier and quicker to do it alone. Good Luck!!!

i agree all my dh did was whine lol that it was taking to long he took all the phone out of it

Just remember that you can always add to the registry. If you can't make a decision on something, leave it. You can always go back. That's what helped me to not feel overwhelmed. Good Luck!!

we felt the same way. we decided to do it department by department. once we finshed one department we then went online and we able to search from home and add anything we wanted!

if you haven't gone already....some places have suggestions or lists. you don't have to do it all in one day. and either theknot.com or weddingchannel.com have a list too.

it's fun! you'll see

Don't try to do everything at once, break it into stages and have a good time. It can be overwhelming thats why it is better to take it slow.

So? Did you go? Did you go?
How was it?

Hey. You guys are great!
I did go. It was okay. Not the best experience ever.
My stupid gun didn't work...(Twice!)
My fiance loved it. He had such a good time and that part was fun because he makes me laugh...
I definitley have to do some fine-tuning...But all will be well...After awhile, I just said: 'I've had enough, we have to leave now' And we did.
And that was only after about an hour.
I generally don't like shopping much anyway.

You can do some of it online if the store will let u update online. Just know that not everything the stores have are online.

Or go on a Saturday morning first thing before the store crowds up.

Told ya it wasn't that bad.

Made sure to eat a hearty meal before we left. Wore sneakers and left our coats/bags in the car. We were ready!

I wouldn't register for things for our wedding without my FH. Everytime we both went.

I would am going to say the same thing. It is easy on you to bring your FH with you.
