i sent 2 friends w/their dates (total 4 guests) STDs ... i haven't talked to them in MONTHS, havent seen them in abt 2 years....
f that i'm not inviting them.... rather invite new friends
major wedding no no , right?

I am not seding 2 old friends invites here's the reason
1. turned to drugs in the past year 2. Was a BM and a very very good friend of mine. She knew about the BM dress when to get her measurements in by.. etc.. I emailed, text, called her and she never did it. I never heard from her again... (well until this past week through a FB message and it is too little too late) btw- the dresses were to be ordered by January 15th.... soooo......
I'm doing it too if it makes you feel better

i didn't send STDs but we invited FH's friend to the engagement party and decided not to invite him to the wedding (he never showed to the e-party and gave us a BS excuse about it).
it *is* a major no-no ... but ef it!

Yes, it's considered a major 'no no' but if you don't see these people anymore and you don't feel close to them I dont think it's a big deal.

It happened to me where I received an STD and then wasn't invited to the wedding. My friend and I weren't speaking at the time though, so I knew why...
It IS a no no, BUT are you really worried about them? I think you aren't LOL
Don't send them an invite, it's not a big deal if you never talk to them or see them.

We sent a few STDs out and either haven't heard from certain people or that friend and I have just drifted apart... so as of right now, I don't care, I won't be inviting them. The worst part is I reach out to them, text, FB, call and they just ignore me.. so eff them.

I was invited to a friends e-party and couldn't make it, so then he never invited me to his wedding.. Which is fine.. because we don't really talk unless we see each other out. However, because of this, I decided not to invite him and his wife to our wedding.

Ehhh I havent sent my STD's out yet for this same reason....I didnt wanna send them to early and wanted to leave them till the 6 month mark b/c you never know how relationships end up.
But...we invited my friend and her fh, and then FH invited a friend to our e-party. Both NEVER responded. We texted and emailed them asking if they were coming and they just flat out ignored us. So we decided not to invite them to our wedding. Oh well.

I agree.. if they really don't matter and you can care less about them, just f the invite.... it'll lead to the same relationship you have now...
eta..worst case and they say something and you regret not inviting them 'oh, it must have gotten lost in the mail '
