I'm going to jail soon...

BECAUSE I AM GOING TO MURDER THE MORTGAGE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My closing date was set for 6/15. AFTER that passed, I got a phone call saying they were submitting our mortgage to an underwriter. (This is the 3rd time our mortgage has been submitted and the 2nd time it has been re-written!) It can't pass because I'm missing documents...AGAIN! I've given them everything they've asked for every time they ask. I don't know why they keep asking for more stuff. Why can't they decide what they want the first time around and I'll get them everything?

I'm literally crying at work right now because I'm so frustrated. I called the mortgage people and yelled at them, but it didn't make me feel any better.

We went through something similar when we bought our house last year. We were in limbo from May to the end of July trying to get a closing date, and then my landlord at my apartment said that he found a new tenant who wanted to move in on August 1. He told us that the last week in July! We still didn't have a closing date either! So FH and I packed up all our crap, put most of it in storage, and moved in with my sister for a week until we finally closed on August 8.

I'm sorry you're going through this, but I promise, when all is said and done, it will all be worth it.
