I'M GOING TO LOOK AT MY HALL TONIGHT ( MILLERIDGE COTTAGE) ALL SET UP FOR A RECEPTION AND THEN ON SUNDAY TO SEE IT SET UP FOR A CEREMONY. IF ALL GOES WELL WE ARE BOOKING IN NEXT WEEK FOR DECEMBER 2008...IM SO NERVOUS OH MY GOSH...WAS ANYONE ELSE'S STOMACH IN THEIR THROAT? ALSO ARE THERE ANY OTHER DECEMBER BRIDES OUT THERE?

I was definitely so nervous especially when my dad signed the 'dotted line' Definitely make sure you either negotiate with your BM or make them throw some stuff in for free (i.e. ice sculptures, chair covers, cordials on each table, etc.). Also write down any and all questions you want answered so you remember to ask them before signing anything.
I was at a sweet 16 at Millerage Cottage and it was very pretty then I could only imagine how it's going to look for a wedding...HOW EXCITING!!!!

WOW- they weren't willing to work with you...that's terrible. When I went there to look I spoke to Leslie...who did you talk to.
She seemed open to moving some things around. I'm sorry to hear that , but I've heard wonderful things about that place. I think my FBIL and FSIL are getting married there in '07

When my FH and I got engaged in 12/05 we went to see the Millerdige. t he way ti was decorated for the holidays made me want to have a Christmas wedding... it was SOOO Ogorgeous with the white lights, the trees, the poinsettas, it was stunning.
We ended up not booking there because it was out of our budget, but we loved it. i've heard good things aobut the place...
