I'm going to Marina Del Rey this afternoon! UPDATE (somewhat)

Let me know whether you ladies would like me to find anything out for you. Whooo-hooo. This is so exciting.
We're going to Russo's on the Bay this Thursday. I can't wait until I finally book this hall so I can move on to step 2.

UPDATE- OMG, OMG, OMG- BREATH-TAKING/GORGEOUS ....WOW. Seriously, I can't even tell you or find the words to describe just how beautiful it is...and I only got to see the lobby/ not even half of the outdoors. We're going back on Wed., to look at the hall/ the rooms. We decided that because there was a wedding going on it was probably best to come back. Let me tell you, they have a freaking yacht that if you choose to do so, you can have your cocktail outside/on the yacht or even inside the hall. They also had this big fountain right in the middle of the lobby. Amazing ladies. It's definitely a hall you must look at if your considering the trip. I'll update you all again on Wed., of course

Re: I'm going to Marina Del Rey this afternoon!

Thanks. You know last night when I was talking to my FI I told him not to tell him how many guests we are expecting. Give them a much lower #, so then we can say, well if we increase it by 50 more guests would you lower the price per plate! What do you think? Good tactic?

That's what I have understood. Unfortunately, they don't have a website. When I go back on Wed. I'm going to ask why.

It is really beautiful there!! As soon as you go up the drive way you see the beautiful water! It's quite a site! We got to go in the kitchen and meet the 'boss', she was sooo cute! Definitely worth taking a look at!
