im going to rant for a minute

why must my FIL's knock everything I want to do?

that cake I mentioned earlier does not AT ALL to me seem difficult and i am tired of being looked at like Im dumb and dont know what Im doing.

im so friggan mad and i feel like my day just got totally ruined.

im done sharing my idea's with them. im just going to do things myself.

Don't listen to them. They're just being negative and you don't need that. You were probably really excited to tell them and then they knocked you down right? Not nice.

Don't share with them, they're not worth it.

Honestly, I just tell him things he absolutely should have an opinion on because guys really don't 'get' certain details that we come up with. FH looked at me like I had 5 heads when I asked him about doing our engagement photos differently but he loves them now. Sometimes, you just have to leave details out and let them see for themselves

yep, of course. All though, I can't say this about one of them because we are on an understanding level with a lot of things. she has not said one negative thing about anything i suggested.

That's what I did. They told me every DIy project was a waste of time and money and no one is gonna care about that stuff. Well, I cared. And I wouldn't have changed a thing! And they sure appreciated the final product!
