Im going to see Duet Photo (with update)

...Duet Photo tonight. Hopefully this will be my last photographer that I see.

Ok so hear is the update:

They have a very nice office they are a husband and wife team. Very nice but dont speak much English. They show u their books they show u the video and they are out of there. However, the quality of their photos is very good. Their price is $3,999 for photo and video package. Which is pretty good to say the least. Their proofs come in a box after the wedding which is kinda what I didn't like. The vidoegraphy was very very nice.

So u get this in the package:

2 main for photographers traditional and photojournalistic

1 Day of shooting(up to twelve hours)

1-Designer's Edition 10x10 (Flush Mounted Album)

30 images (images up to 60

Special Color Work

Black and White Included

80 Thank you cards
All Proofs with Box (Guarantee-Minimum 500)

Videography
1 Cameraman
1 Day Shooting
3CCD Digital Camera
Preparation, Ceremony, Formal Reception
Full Editing with Music Overlay
3-DVD's (with three chapters)

if you ask for the prices on paper- make sure you check the envelope! He told me he was giving me all the package and the price info, and when i got home the envelope only had one little brochure in it with only a few of the many packages on it....

Any idea how much they'd knock off if you eliminated the video?

I need to meet with them, just haven't had the time...

That's a really good price and I love thier layouts, but the photos seem to be a little flat. Are they all digital or do they use film? If they're diggital hat would explain the low price

If I remember correctly they take off $1000 if you don't get video.

THey do the color in digital the B&W in film....

which office did u see them at because I found out they have 2?? It was sometimes difficult to understand but like my mom said....They're taking pictures not announcing the BP I LOVED their photojournalistic style and for that there is no prepping. Good Luck!
