I'm going to the city this weekend and I need your help

Where should I go to look for a veil and headpiece? Will it have to be ordered and if so how long do they take to come in. Also please post the phone number and or address of the store if you have it. I'm getting married in to months and still have found nothing.

I am sure someone else will post this, but I remember tons of girls saying to go to C&H. I am sure if you do a search you can find a few threads on it which will tell you the number and the address.

Metropolitan Implex on 6th ave, between 35th and 36th!!!

Also Paul's Veils on 38th between 5th and 6th

C&H is in Manhattan, on 40th st between 7 & 8 avenues.

There was a post recently from a bride who said that C&H had to close. I was going into the city too, to get my veil, but I decided to check LI first. I went to Tri-County Flea market in Levittown and found my veil and headpiece there.

Hi! I ordered my veil from Rose Bridals on W.39th Street. The lady in there does custom work and has been a pleasure to work with- highly reccomend her!

Other than that...just take a walk down 40th and 39th street between 7th and 8th. There are lots of shops that make veils and have head peices. There is also a place called Paul's Veils on 37th between 5th and 6th that is ok but overpriced IMO. Oh- and don't be afraid of the fact that they all look like hole in the walls!!
