I'm gonna have to ACT surprised!

I think I figured out my bridal shower.... This Sunday me and fh are supposed to be going to his uncles surprise 50th b-day party. I'm not too familiar with this side of the family so from the beginning I was thinking maybe this could be it. But, I didn't wanna spoil the surprise so I keep telling myself maybe it really is for his b-day. Plus, we have like 9 other parties to go to before the wedding so there's many opportunities.

So yesterday, I saw fh's 10-yr old nephew and he says to me 'So Lucy, this weekend is your bridal party or something?' I say what? and he says 'oh, nevermind, i dunno...' and we left it at that.

I haven't mentioned anything to fh cuz i know he really wants it to be a surprise and so DID I. Grrrrr

I don't think he even realized it! he was just so nonchalant about it all lol

this happens alot....why do these little kids even know whats going on? when i was younger nobody told me anything!!

Its so funny, b/c I think its my shower this Sunday too. We also have lots of parties and communions coming up and my MOH is leaving for London soon.

My aunt and uncle are coming to visit my mom's. She asked me to pick up some food that she ordered at one of the italian restaurants by her house. She said she's all 'cooked out from Easter' and doesn't feel like cooking. She's NEVER ordered food in her life and now with 2 additional people she's catering!!!

HMMMM.

I really wanted to be surprised too. Oh well. Maybe we are both wrong. Good luck.

ps. I've also been checking my registry and things are FLYING !!!

awww!! It's ok!! I did it!! You still don't know what it will look like inside and what surprises and ideas they came up with! That's the best part!!
