I posted this last night on 2 boards and didn't get too much feedback (but thank you to those who did try and help!!), but there seems to be alot of us on today so hopefully I can get more answers!
Do you ladies think that it would look really bad to have my girls wearing all different styles of jewelry? I am sort of hung up on this whole uniformity thing but my MOH is trying to convince me that jewelry is a personal style thing, and it's okay if everyone wears something different. My MOH wants gold jewelry and another of my BMs wants silver. I guess I sort of feel like if they're standing next to each other, silver and gold are gonna clash? I could just be nuts though, I don't know . If anyone has any pics of weddings where the girls all wore their own thing, please post! I feel like if I see it, I will be able to see that it really won't look bad at all. TIA!!!

I'm making their jewelry, but they're going to be all different. I love the idea of them all being different, but since they're all wearing the same dress, I decided to make them different jewelry.

I am asking my BM's to wear either white gold or silver.I rather not have gold and white/silver mix.
But they can wear what makes them comfortable. If they want to wear an important gold ring (e-ring, wedding band etc) whatever that is fine.
I just rather have same in earings and necklaces. Like no black rope necklaces
I agree, i just would not want gold and silver earrings/necklaces and would prefer for them to all be in one vs. the other....

I don't think it matters if the girls have different jewelry but I would keep it the same color.

This REALLY doesn't matter.
I had the girls do different hair, with different shoes. The only thing that I requested was the same dress (which worked into the same COLOR dress).
Your girls are NOT clones. They WILL look different. Gold and silver jewelery will not even be noticed.

I do not feel strongly about same exact jewelry necessarily, but i think i would like either silver or gold...not a mix of both

I like a uniform look for the BMs and I bought them DOJ. But my sister, who's also my MOH, didn't like what I bought and wanted to be distinct. So we found her a bracelet and earrings that she loved.

i don't think it matters. al my girls are having different dresses (same color and length) and i'm planning on buying them all different kinds of green jewelry. i think it looks nice.

I don't think it matters. I told my girls to wear what they want. Just told them i want nice earrings and a bracelet. some are doing silver, some pearls. I don't think it matters in the pictures. Just my opinion!

I don't think it makes a difference as long as you are happy with the results. Let your MOH have gold jewelry and if you prefer silver for the other than go for it. It will be another way to distinguish your MOH from the rest of the bridal party. It goes along the same lines as having different BM dress styles in the same color.

I think it's totally fine and I'm not asking them to wear anything in particular other than the dress. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible in a lilac satin dress..LOL. In the pictures and stuff no one will notice things like that and it' s nice to let them personalize in their own way a little.

I am letting my girls wear what they want. you can give them guidelines. I'm telling them silver/white gold. I think it looks more natural anyway and your BM's will be happy that they can put their personal style to it. JMO

My girls are wearing whatever they want. I want them comfortable. Everyone has different tastes they are doing their hair how they want also.

it's up to you, honestly I don't think most people will notice. I just bought necklaces for my BMs (all the same) and for my MOH I also got her earrings. She needded to get a little something extra, and shes the only one with peirced ears

i got all my bm's the same neckleces for them towear b/c it happens to look great with the dresses i picked out. i got them from lia shophia i went to a lia sophia party. got them for a good price
