The winner posted a story about an illness. which Im very sorry about, but if that is what they were looking for a 'sad' story I could have written that too! no Im not mad I didnt win- I didnt go but I dont think it should have been based on that!
I know Im gonna get flack from this and Im not trying to be mean just voicing my opinion on contest.

it wasn't rigged they called out about 20 different names before someone won the second prize.

For those of you that were there.....

You guys KNOW that the owner said it was too difficult to determine a winner just based on what we wrote, because everyone's stories was so beautiful and great, that it was hard to choose a winner, thus the reason they did the picking out of a hat option.

And hey, you guys won the home theatre system, and you're complaining about it possibly being rigged??!!

I wouldnt agree that the contest was 'rigged' but I do think that they should have done it a little different. Since there weren't that many people that showed up (less than 30 couples) I think they should of gathered the stories of the girls that were present, read them, and then decided a winner because thats how they made it sound like it was going to be. In any event, congrats to all the winners!!! It was nice to see you all today

i just feel bad for Holly because people are thinking it wasn't fair, but she won fair and square.
they had the couples there volunteer for a contest yet no one knew whatd it be until you volunteered and then they said ok most passionate kiss go.
The judges(the li girls) chose us :) FH was so happy and grinning form ear to ear ever since we left there, after checking out some vendors we went to a block party and he todl everyone. Now he loves LIWEDDINGS lol and cant wait for the next event

Jealously??????? Hardly!!! I didnt participate so how could I be jealous? I was simply making a comment. I was curious to see who won and when I heard she won I thought it was too much of a coincidence ( b/c she wrote about an illness) that she won- after saying in a post how she wrote an intense letter about her FI illness. I FM Hollie to say I was wrong with my assumption of the contest being rigged!!! I guess you didnt read ALL of the post and the subject title before commenting
