I'm having a dress breakdown (My first offical vent!)

After my FH and I finished meeting with nick from rambling rose, we watched the sample DVD that he left us of someone else's wedding....the bride was GORGEOUS! everything was just beautiful....well my wonderful FH decides to casually mention that 'her dress is too puffy!' Mind you, my dress is even 'puffier' than hers! He's saying how she would look better if her dress wasn't as puffy! He even mentions that he likes the bridesmaids dress (as a wedding dress!!) Mind you, before when I was thinking about getting a mermaid dress, he was like, I want you to look like a 'princess' on your day, you could wear a dress like that at any time Then I decided to show him some dresses from different websites, I show him two dresses of identical size, and he says the first one is too puffy but the second one is okay!! what the he1l!!! I'm just so confused and pissed off right now! I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a frickin dress just for him to tell me on the wedding day 'it's too puffy!' I'm like, this other girl looked absolutely gorgeous, and he had to find something negative to say...i'm just so upset i''m even contemplating changing my dress...I need some love and advice girls

This is what I was most worried about when I was looking for my dress....whether or not my FH would like it or not. He's extremely picky and very opinionated and I pretty much knew what he liked, and what he didnt like, but i was still so worried about it. I mean, I wasnt thinking that he was gonna think I looked ugly....I just really wanted for him to LOVE everything about what I looked like on that day! So I do know how you feel and this is how I came to terms with all this worrying. As long as you love the dress youre in, thats gonna shine through and you'll look more beautiful than ever in your life, and your FH will see that no matter what youre wearing.
But that's my problem girls....i'm not 100% sure I loved it.....it's a gorgeous dress by all means but i'm just having some real doubts....I'm wondering if I've been influenced by my mom and fmil....ugggghhhh frustration

Well sweetie you have to realize something, depending on her weight and her height the dress would look more puffy and also TV add on instead of taken off. Don't worry you will look great especially because you're going to be his princess.

don't worry! you'll look gorgeous on your wedding day! especially because you in your dress with everything put together he'll probably forget he said anything! plus you are a beautiful girl..YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!

Sometimes things look different on people. maybe he didn't like the poofy dress on her. If he said he wanted you to look like a princess, the poofyness of a dress goes hand in hand with that!!!!

How many times have you gone shoppig with FH and pulled out a shirt or dress and say to him, this is cute right?, and he says no, its not ??
I dont know about you, but this happens to me all the time, Guys just dont know how to visualize, cause when you buy that shirt, he loves it on you.
It doesnt matter what he says now, because on your wedding day, your could be wearing a trash bag and he will still think your the most beautiful bride ever.
Do what I do when FH make comments you don't like, I say 'mmhmm, okay babe, good idea, thanks'

you're absolutely right, I really didn't think about it like that...he does that all the time....he'll be like 'uggghh that's ugly,' but after I try it on, he loves it

boys are so dumb sometimes!!!
They have no idea what will be the best wedding dress for you!!
You will look amazing.. and he will fall in love with you all over again once he sees you in your dress!!
