Girls - i'm getting really upset.... Our savings account is not getting any bigger & I am getting more and more concerned that we cannot afford this wedding. FH works in sales - so his commission check BLEW this month...
I'm sorry to freak out - i'm literally looking around the house for things to sell, etc. I'm good with photography so i've applied for some photographer assistant jobs near my home - so i'm hoping they'll pad out...
Just needed to freak out for a minute... I don't want to put pressure on FH - as he's in sales and pressure is the last thing he needs to get out of a slump - ya know???

Well just think, your wedding is soooo close and then soon after you will feel better, thanks to some of the money you can reload your account with. Try looking for some old stuff that you can put on Ebay or Craigslist...have a yard sale..this is a great time for one....lots of luck!

Sell Tupperware! Apparantly they make a 25% commission on whatever a party is. My FSIL had one last night and the party was a little over $600, so she made $150!

I've looked around - we don't have much really. Where we live doesn't do well with garage sales - it's hard to explain - but our landlord has had SEVERAL (they live upstairs) and they start giving stuff away because no one comes..
That's just the problem too - it's SO close - so we'll have to pay out a LOT of money & all we have is in our savings account...and it's not even enough to pay half of what we owe to the RH...

i freak out all the time about this. i dont know where the money is coming from and then as always things pop up that make me have to spend $$$...i have to take my car for an inspection tomorrow and i know their gonna find something wrong for me to fix and that'll cost soo much $$$.

We have had to cut out so much to have this wedding, yet still wonder how we are going to get everything paid for. EBay is always a good option. FH and I just listed some things on there for extra cash. You would be suprised what people will buy! You said you are good with photography, how about graphic design? Maybe you can pick up some extra cash doing that. I have made a few $$ over the years printing wedding items, business cards, desigining invoices. Alot of people are willing to pay for such things rather than be bothered with it themselves. Hope it all works out!

I'm sorry you are stressing about the $ situation. I know it is hard. I have been working two jobs for the past 7 yrs. I am dead tired but I know that in the long run it will pay off. FH and I are looking for a house and even with the market going down house are still very expensive when you factor in taxes and all the other expenses. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

No really don't have anyone to help out. A friend of mine offered - but i refuse to put a friendship on the line like that. My parents are helping as much as they can and his parents are worthless. They paid entirely for his sisters' wedding & since, her entire divorce...so they have nothing left.

We are still deciding if we are doing save the dates or not -- if we do you will be the first person I come too (I am serious). MY FH can build computers and make things works on them but graphically and every day use he just doesn't get -- and I am plain lazy to do it myself!
