Don't get me wrong, I want a beautiful bouquet but I don't want to spend all this money that I don't have on centerpieces or decor. I guess if I had the money I would care, but who I'm I trying to impress?

I am doing candle centerpeices for the tables
I was even going to make my bouquets but then I went to Burtons and spoke to John and he made me SO exicted about my bouquet. Especially since the price was awesome!
I still am doing my candle centerpieces and am with you on spening thousands on flowers...def would not do it

Thats ok...no one said flowers are a must for centerpieces! I personally want flowers but if i had to fig out what $ goes where the centerpiece flowers are the 1st to go! But I would def make sure my BO-K and the bridesmaid Bo-Ks are nice

I'm the complete opposite, OBSESSED with the flowers...but there are other things I don't care about (invitations for one.)
If you don't want to spend a lot on CPs, why don't you do all candles? I think that looks beautiful.

i just can't stand how much they cost! even burtons and national wholesale are no bargain. why can't flowers be $500

Mine were a bit less than that but Again Im not doing centerpieces with them.

I know! I'm totally going with a minimalist approach to flowers.
although, I was just at a wedding at the ny botanical gardens and the flowers were gorgeous!

me either-my centerpeices are candles and since i know the person doing my flowers everything only cost me $150!!!!!!

I don't have CP's either. Do you think people are going to be talking about my CP's after the wedding??? No, I highly dount it. They will talk about the food, and DJ. My FMIL is making my CP's for us.

I am with you, I just can't spend that kind of $$$ on flowers (although if I was loaded I could go nuts). I'm just having candle centerpieces & I'm thinking vases filled with lemons & limes. The only flowers are my bo-k MOH bo-k corsages & bouts (about 5 each) maybe 1 decoration for the arch during my ceremony. I'm even going to pick them up myself. Glad i'm not alone.
