I'm in ADDRESS HELL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sooo tired!! I've been gathering stupid addresses for days now!!
Waited on my mom and FMIL the longest!! They hand wrote them... so I had to type them all up... which took hours because I was scared of making a mistake!!

I submit them!
THEN I find out it has to be on a special spreadsheet!!!

AND that's not even the worst part!! My preliminary guest list had first and last names. As I went through the list I deleted most of the first names and replaced them with the way the title would read (Mr. & Mrs. John Sands). NOW the new spreadsheet has it all seperated... First name 1, last name 1, first name2, last name 2, envelope listing.
I repeat, I just deleted all the first names on the preliminary list FMIL didn't even give first names for most if not all of her peeps!!

This is so going to take me all night long to fix... and I only slept 4 hours last night!!!

I'm sleepy and aggravated now!! AAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to be b!tching like this to you guys!! BUT I NEED to get it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stupid f*cking addresses and lists and crap and ahhhhhh!!!!

Oh and 3 people NEVER got back to me with their addresses... you know what they get?? a big fat blank envelope thats going to be hand delivered now!! GGRRRRR!!!!!!


Anyone else go through this when they did the address list for the invitiations??

Oh man Kerri, I'm sorry! You're still going at those damn things? I feel bad, my invitations are floating somewhere around in Washington state about now, I think they got bumped up a bit cuz of this delay

Do you have any lists from when you did STDs, or did you compile a list for shower invites? I had been keeping separate address lists all along so when it came down to do my invite list it was just a matter of merging the lists together and adding in the few additional.

Thank God my sister/MOH is doing this for me, she got married in 04 and we have the entire file saved!
My biggest fear is printing them!

I did the same thing with our place cards! It s*cked... I had been so happy to send the list off and then had to do it all over again and wanted to pull my hair out!

But they come out so good in the end.

I have all the lists.... but the e party and shower have some different people. AND a bunch of people moved too for some reason!!

ALI - do you remember... the guest column.. is that like 2 or 1? I'm confused... it's 2 right? Like if i'm iviting a person and a guest that equals 2. It wouldn't be like the person is understood then PLUS 1 on teh guest column right? Am I even making sense? I'm not sure this is even engligh anymore!

Speaking of english... get this.. FH cousin has a thing for China... so he moved there. His address starts with a chinese symbol!! I can't get that on the computer. I'm just fed up and sending his invite to his mother. she can take care of it!! It's his fault for moving there!! hahahaha jk.

OH it's a major pain getting addresses! FH and I worked on them for weeks.

But it's a fun kind of annoying

not anymore. I saved like every 10 minutes. Then closed it a few times and opened it again. then had to close it to send it... so undo won't do anything. And even still.... there are over 130 people across about 6 tabs (each tab is catergorized.. like my fam, his fam, friends, work, etc).

BUT.. good news... I told MOH about it and she asked me to send them to her... she did the friends list for me!! Which is probably the largest list. Then the 2nd largest is FH family. so that was a HUGE help!! I know I have to just double check it bc she makes small errors sometimes and the guest column we didn't know what to do with.

I'm feeling like these invitiations are never going out!! haha!! but I know i'll get it done eventually and one day i will ahve them in my hand!!

I'm having zero fun! but that could be because i'm irritable today.... one of my BM's came over last night at 10 pm and stayed until 2:30 am!! I wake up at 6 for work!!!!!!!!

well not zero fun... the most fun im having is b*tching about it with you lovelies!!! Thats soooo not how that word should look! haha!

Well, I did the personalized rsvp cards, so I changed the heading to 'Seats Reserved', but yeah, I put whatever number I wanted that invite to be for...so if it was a couple, two, a family, five, etc.

I know you are!! And I TOTALLY appreciate it!!! I hope I don't sound mean.... I'm just stressed and tired. these BM's come in the middle of the night to try on their dresses!!! and then keep me up all night long. I had another one over the night before last and she was here until 1 am. so the few hours of sleep I get.... aren't even good because Im stressed and having nightmares. haha. normally im soo calm too. I think I woke up one day last week and started thinking and my brain just went nuts and then anxiety set in and all that. ahh it will simmer down... once i get a bunch more things done I know i'll feel better and more accomplished.

Your FH is WONDERFUL!! PLEASE tell him I said that!! MY Fh can barely even turn on the comptuer. Let alone type of names and addresses on a spreadsheet. I kid you not!!! He is special!!

I did the same thing.. carried over the information from one list to the other. But the lists kept changing and then my STD list was wayyy shorter than this list. AND how in the world do I know so many people that moved??? Seriosuly there were about 10 people who moved?!?!?! ODD!!!
