does anyone know what those white flowers are called? i think the green are orchids..

The ones with the pearl in the center are stephanotis. I'm in love with them! They also hold up well in any weather (if it's hot outside they don't wilt). And I'm 99% the big ones are peonies.

i just looked up peony prices though, looks like they're much more expensive then roses...maybe i'll splurge

They are but some florists won't charge you extra - mine isnt also try Burtons - they charge you just for the quantity

make sure peonies are in season though! their season is april-beginning of june according to my florist. since they have such a short timespan they're more desired so they're more expensive. I really wanted them but they're not in season on my wedding day =((( You might just be able to get some of the first blooms of them on yours, but check first.

some florist will get them at any time - i am getting married in march and i am getting peonies

I really wanted a fall wedding (our favorite time of year and I love the colors) but circumstances pushed my wedding to the spring, and peonies were my initial consolation!

This bouquet has peonies, stephanotis, I think the green ones are cybidium orchids, and there may be some roses or ranunculus tucked in there as well. Beautiful bouquet! I love the green and white look of bouquets.
