Hmmm are we talking registry junkie as in you keep checking it, or as in keep adding to it?

Both - kinda. More of a 'checker' than an 'adder' at this point.

Hmmm hard to say since I haven't checked mine at all. (But I know nothing will disappear off it until next month anyway!!)

Maybe try to occupy yourself to keep your mind off the registry?? Easier said than done, I know.

Hi my name is Tara & I am also addicted to my registry. I think the only remedy to cure this addiction is a Mojito in the near future...HTH

I'm no help-I check it all the time several times a day. Like someone is going to buy me something at 10:30 on a Wednesday morning?

I do have a tip though-something I've contemplated but couldn't bring myself to do: Have the store take it offline. Your guests by now know where you are registered and if not your friends and family can inform them. A lot of people still go to the store directly to buy gifts as opposed to ordering online.

Just an idea-I wish I was strong enough to do it. I am ruining my shower by checking.

That's a great idea. However, I already know my shower is this weekend...which I'm not upset that the 'surprise' is ruined. I'm going to be surprised about the guests and location and such...I can't take it offline...I might suffer from withdrawal.

How do you know your shower is this weekend? Are you sure?

I know about mine too (though nobody knows I know)-so the only surprise I have left is what I will get-but my addiction to the online registry tool is taking that away from me too!

Also-my 'surprise' shower is this weekend too! Mine is Saturday, I'll be thinking of you!

Mom is just as bad as me - she can't keep her trap shut. She is completely computer 'idiot' and asked me to order the favors from ebay (totally forgetting to ask MOH) so instead of writing the date of the shower, she just put 'February 2006' - trying not to 'ruin' it...well it wasn't last weekend...and this weekend is the last week of February!

Hahahaha!

Awww...don't worry! I honestly believe the element of surprise is when you see who's there! Not so much where/when it is!
