Well, ordered birth certificates for me & FH on VitalChek on the 21st and requested overnight delivery. Just checked order status and they haven't been shipped yet. Emailed them to see what is going on but they may not respond for 3 business days. There's no phone number to contact them.
We took this Tuesday coming up off to go down and get our marriage license but I guess we won't be able to do that now. I guess I'll go in and cancel the order. Does anyone know of any other place that I can call and request overnight delivery?

u can go to the town hall in the town u were born in...thats what i did for a vacation i was going on...i said im leaving tomorrow and i ruined mine please do it now and after a few min of complaining they did it in 5 minutes...they normally take 3 weeks...so just explain your situation and insist they do it...i would call and explain it first ...

if you were born in nyc then you may have go there here's the website:
i also ordered mine from vitalcheck and it said 10-25 days and I ordered on 8/1. If you click on the email they send as a confirmation it will tell you the 'status'. If I dont get mine after Labor Day I am going to call them. I would call them or email them if you are concerned.

You can just go to the local town hall in which you were born and they give you a copy right then and there with a seal on it and everything.

Just upset because I put in for rush delivery and status still shows not shipped and I didn't see a number to call them. Think I'm better off cancelling the order altogether. I'm going to call NYC Health Dept. to order mine rush delivery but I don't think I can order FH one on my credit card so he'll have to go into Manhattan to get it.
