I just bought a cute fondue set from bed bath and beyond. It looks like a Hershey kiss and it was 10.00 and there was a coupon. Planning to use it New years with DH. There used to be a fondue restaurant in Forest Hills, but not sure if it is still there. Are there any places in nassau county?

Princess99 - you're right about the Fondue place in forest hills. unfortunately, its not there anymore. my friend and I used to go there once a month - the melting pot. the only other place i know of for fondue on LI is waterzooi in garden city. DH and I went there this week for our 1-year anni. its was DELICIOUS!! awesome fondue!
i look forward to checking out DIP - I'm a FONDUE FREAK! :)

the melting pot was sooo good - they are still around - but none in NY anymore. (i was at one in philly a few months ago)
Artisinal was one of the best meals I ever had...that was such a great night - I also got pretty drunk off two HUUUGE dirty martinis...oops. Great food -great martinis!

Bella Vita City Grill in St. James has a fantastic chocolate fondue for dessert.
