Hi Nina! I am so glad your day turned out so perfectly! I am happy for you both! I was anxious to hear how 'joey jam' was; it's too bad he wasn't able to make it. I am glad to hear his backup was good! Congratulations again!

Re: I'm married!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you all for the posts! Aruba was awesome!! We got an upgrade to a suite (2 rooms with 2 balconies facing the ocean) at the Wyndham Resort. It was a really nice hotel and the service was excellent. The pool and beach are also very nice. If you have more money to spend, I would recommend the Hyatt or Radisson too. The Marriott was also nice, but right next to a huge construction site. Before we left we had planned to take it easy and relax rather than fill our week with activities. Aside from dining, and sitting at the pool and on the beach, we took a boat trip for snorkeling and went into the town for shopping. The best restaurants that we ate at were Gasparito, La Tratorria, and Blossoms. We didn't go to Flying Fishbone or El Gaucho, because I don't eat steak, and we didn't want to rent a car. But, these are supposed to be great as well.

Re: I'm married!!!!!!!!!!!!!
congrats Nina! We have done so much planning together, I feel like we're sisters! We unfortunately missed each other in Aruba, but I am so glad you had lots of fun...we did too! We stayed at the Hyatt and it was awesome too! I haven't been able to post my review of my wedding yet, but LI Weddings is working on that for me. I guess I will be talking to ya in the newlyweds board!!

Re: I'm married!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sonicstef,
Jodi was terrific. I think she is considered an advanced basic photographer. Is she going to be at your wedding? I enjoyed spending time with Peter before the ceremony, and she made us very comfortable trying to be 'alone' in front of the camera. She was great at making everyone laugh, and when it came time for the group family pics, it was during the cocktail hour, and she had to work very quickly so that everyone could attend the cocktail hour. Her energy was great, and everyone said how hard she worked. Well, my husband's immediate family is about 30 people, and she was very good at getting us all together and keeping it fun, even though it was quite chaotic. Actually, this was the only stressful time of the wedding for me, b/c I was thinking that 1/2 of our guests are our immediate family out in the lobby taking pics, and we paid so much $$, and everyone should be eating. Well, she made it a lot easier. I can't wait to see the proofs!

Re: I'm married!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks. Jodi is going to be one of our photographers along with Lynn. I totally trust Lynn will do a great job but since ive never met Jodi I was glad to see you liked her.
Did she come up with creative poses and angles? Im worried about getting too much traditional stuff for the posed photos. I know they both will do great with the candids and that is why I like Marks studio so much but of course I would like some creative posed stuff too.
