I just wanted to say that on my wedding day, I didn't even notice my flowers until I saw pictures, I could care less that the DJ played the wrong song for me to walk down the aisle to, it didn't matter that my MOH's shoes were totally didn't match her tea length gown. Plus, no one noticed that my flower girls and jr. bridesmaids had their dresses hanging onto their bodies by about 30 safety pins( done 1 hr. prior to walking down the aisle) bc my aunt never took them to get tailored....
Enjoy your day, it flies past you so fast, you almost don't have time to absorb it, so...
don't get caught up in details. They simply don't matter. Things will go wrong and you will deal with it.
Your day ends up not being about your wedding at all, but about your marriage. That is the part that stays with you and will make you happy every day for the rest of your life.

Thank you so much for posting that ! I think I am so calm with the planning because I understand that there are certain things that I cannot control. If something goes wrong, then I can either deal with it, or let it go. If it rains, then I can get married inside instead of outside. I already have grey hair (i'm 40). I don't need to add to it.

VERY TRUE! I never noticed my centerpeices either. Don't drive yourself crazy with details b/c the day of, you won't even realize they are there!
