I'M MRS. ANSELMO!!!! W/PICS !!!
Hi Lovelies!
Well someone up there loves me (and Bari too) bc who would think I would have been able to have an outside water front wedding on May 5th???? The weather was glorious!!! Not even a breeze! Even with a cold (yes I came down with a cold on Friday) it didn't stop me from enjoying EVERY second of it. It also didn't seem to 'fly by' like everyone said. I was a long, fantastic day!
Without a doubt yesterday was THE MOST incredible day of my life, almost impossible to describe.
VYC girls...the food and service is OUTSTANDING!
Two little words of advice.
1. You REALLY won't sweat the small things on the 'day of.' Seriously, none of it. For example my BM gowns were ALL alterered incorrectly. A week ago I would have had a stroke, yesterday I didn't even notice.
2. Hire a DOC, especially if you have a big wedding (175 guests of more) and/or lots of little details. They are worth every single cent. I would have paid tripple for Fran if I had to (ie the BM dresses, she pinned therefore I didn't notice that they weren't bustled by the seamstress). I also forgot my foot flops and she went back to the hotel to get them while we were at Old Westbury Gardens. I was missing one boutiniere (sp?) and she arranged with the florist to have one delivered to VYC.
I'm off the Riviera Maya and can't wait!!! I know Mel posted some pics but I'll leave you with a couple more. I will post a FULL REVIEW when I get back.
VYC girls if you have any questions in particular, FM me
