Good luck Beth! Im sure you'll do great! I get the same jitters when talking in fron of 5 people so 80...but you'll do fine! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you girl!!!!!!!

Was this your thesis proposal....How are things in the lab?

Hey girls! Thanks for think of me! We just finished the meeting recently. It was a joint meeting with my program (the center for comparative and evolutionary biology of hearing) and the NIH, and since I am on a training grant, I had to give a 15-minute talk. But I was soo nervous since we had 90 attendees. But, my talk went well. I was never really happy with my data, but the talk itself went well. I'm happy it's over. In setting up for the meeting, I also did some graphic design for the nametags and programs, and they came out really great. I'm so happy with the printing. I kept a copy for myself and I'll take a pic when I get home. All in all, the day ran smoothly and it was a successful meeting. Later I think I'm going out for some drinks/dinner with FH to unwind and I'm definitely taking the night off from work!
