I'm nervous about dress

I happen to call BridalSuite patchogue,to find out when my dress would be in,they told me 7/25 it will be shipped,my wedding is Aug 22.My mom called and told them they better call the manufactuer and it better get here sooner,they called backwith a 7/17 date if i want it shipped 1 day priority it will cost $60. or 2day $40.,they told me they lie about the date,so that maens my dress would have gotten here 2 weeks before wedding.I still have to dye shoes and get headpiece.What if the wrong dress comes in???

First- relax! Call them and explain your problem and ask them how they can fix it. Is it your fault, or theirs?

first:
Don't think about mistakes...and if it does happen...most chops have good relationshops with their manufacturers that they can get a new dress within days (ie bridal suite of bayshore...burned down...and still was able to get every dress that was needed within days)

second:
you'll have plenty of time to alter it

just keep calling the store every week...to make sure that they know you are there

Having had my own problems with them, I would do 2 things:

1) Call the manufacturer yourself. They might not give you much information but it does help behind the scenes.

2) Call Bea EVERYDAY!

I had similar problems with Patchogue Bridal Suite.

I agree with Swags. You must call Bea (the owner) every single day and do not let her put you off. Demand answers. She has a habit of telling you she will call you back and then never does! If you have to, go to the store and make sure that it is at a busy time. That seems to get results.

I did call the manufactuer and they won't give me any info,they only deal with retail store.I have been dealing with Ruby who is very nice.I have to go and view the bridesmaids dresses and I see what else I can do.

You want to deal with Bea the owner. What is the reason that they are giving you?

When did you order this dress? Depending on when you ordered this dress I do not think that you should let them charge you anything extra!

I ordered the dress Jan.16,03.They measured hollow to hem,since I'm short.I didn't think I should be charged for shipping either.They told me they lie to the manufactuer,so even if they moved the date a week earlier,that would be8/15,the manuf.was going to ship it 7/25 and that could take a week,so that means a week in between shipping and fake date.Bridal Suite said it could be because theey didn't get the fabric in.early enough.
