I'm never using H&R block again

I filed february 5th and still havent recieved my refund. i go back to look at my paperwork and the idiot put an address from my previous tax returns with them that i haven't lived in in 3 years even though both w2's have my new address...you can't even speak to someone from the IRS about it until the 21st

oh no that sukks!!

I've used them for years and never had a problem. We stopped b/c they got to be too expensive!

ooooh that stinks. I used them once and the fee was $200 or something ... I FREAKED. I got them done this year for $75 AND I get free financial advice all year - went on 2/18 and got my checks in the mail - both state and fed - yesterday!

that succks ... my dad is a CPA so he did my taxes (and FH's) really quickly and I already got my refund a while ago. My dad is awesome if you're looking for someone new!

OMG don't even get me started. They screwed the sh*t out of FH in taxes. Fh told me to go there to get ours done since he couldn't do them with his normal guy in the military since he was in training.

Well I went and the lady there was fighting with me about FH getting all his state tax money back. He is out of state and even out of the country but still paying NYS taxes. Federal he got back normal amount. But he owed for State and that wasnt right. She acted as if I knew nothing about taxes. She was really a b*tch. So I went back after she filed them to show her Fh's last years return and the form he filled out to get his state money back. And she still said NO. So now after 2 weeks we finally got our returns in the bank even though she said it would only take 5 days. And now Fh has to file a compliant, go to H&R block when he is home to get our money back for the fee of filing there and bring them to his person and try to get it fixed.

I hate H&R block and will never go back again!!

whattttttttttt thats horrible!!

they usually turn the screen for you to check everything.... I used them last year and I made sure to check everything and i had no problems

they can't correct it because its already been filed and mailed...TO THE WRONG ADDRESS! IRS cannot 'take further action' until the 21st of March. I'm so friggin ANGRY right now. for him to have put that address in means that he A) didn't bother looking at BOTH of my W2's which had the CORRECT ADDRESS ON THEM! AND B) just entered through information from a previous return without typing it in fresh because the only way he could have even known that address was from a previous tax return that i did with H&R Block in 2006.
